the questions asked by "answer men"

I have found something to be true of the categories I may fit in: Pastor, writer, and practical theologian.

This is likewise true of others in similar categories.
  • Sometimes we ask questions to find answers.
  • Sometimes we ask questions to sound profound.
  • Sometimes we ask questions to maintain job security or sell something.
  • Sometimes we ask questions to increase our base of fans and followers.
Ironically, those motives will all ask the very same question.

Yet each asks that question for a completely different reason.
"All a man’s ways seem innocent to him, but motives are weighed by the LORD." (Proverbs 16:2)
